May 11, 2012 - Burn your Bra for Bev, supporting Roger's House.

Thank you for your support! Because of businesses and people like you, it has been eight years and we are still going strong!

The 8th Annual Burn Your Bra for Bev raised an incredible $56 900 to support Rogers House and other local causes.

Many thanks to our quest speakers Sue & Missy Lumley-Pfeil.

Although the event has raised well over $300 000.00 since its inception, an even greater accomplishment is the fund started in 2011 to assist local families with incidental expenses while dealing with challenging medical conditions.

May 06, 2011 - Burn your Bra for Bev, supporting the Childrens Hospital of Eastern Ontario (CHEO)

With the help of our supporters and sponsors the 7th Annual Burn Your Bra For Bev Fundraiser raised over $50 000 for the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario and local families. To date we have raised over $240, 000. Thank you we couldn't do it without you!

May 07, 2010 - Burn your Bra for Bev, supporting the University of Ottawa Heart Institute's ‘I Heart Mom’ Campaign

Thank-you for making the 2010 Burn your Bra for Bev supporting Heart Disease and the University of Ottawa Heart Institute's ‘I Heart Mom’ Campaign another huge success. Because of your generous support we raised $41,000.   Since our party started in 2005, we've now raised over $190,000!

May 08, 2009 - Burn your Bra for Bev, supporting Liver Cancer and the SickKids Liver Transplant Program

Thank you for making the 5th annual Burn Your Bra for Bev fundraising dinner, held May 8th 2009 in Pakenham another piece of history.  Since our party started, we've raised over $150,000!

This year alone you helped raise over $40,000 which will support Liver Cancer and the SickKids Liver Transplant Program.

Allocation of 2009 Funds Raised:
$25, 000 donated to SickKids Liver Transplant Program,
$10, 000 to purchase a Fetal Heart Monitor for the Almonte General Hospital and,
$5, 000 towards our fire departments effort to purchase a infrared camera.

2009 BYB4B Bootcamp and Run
The first ever Burn Your Bra for Bev Bootcamp saw over 30 women take part in an outdoor workout experience.  They walked, hiked and ran the trail at the Mill of Kintail Conservation Area.  There were many stops for resistance training exercises in the woods, hayfields and picnic areas.  Some were easier than others and some less popular than others.  But, at the end of the day, a sense of accomplishment was definitely experienced.

Several participants from the Bootcamp and many other men, women and children participated in the resurrected Burn You Bra for Bev Run.  Some ran 2km, others 5km and even 10km, raising well over $4000 (and counting).  Congratulations everyone for your efforts and accomplishments!

2009 BYB4B Snowmobile Rally
Our 1st BYB4B Snowmobile Rally raised $550.  We had 27 sleds who enjoyed a perfectly sunny cold winter day. Special Thanks to Art Griffith, Doreen Lindsay, Neilcorp Homes, The Giles' and Napa Auto Parts of Almonte for their generous contributions.

May 09, 2008 - Burn your Bra for Bev, Leukemia and Lymphoma Cancer research

Thank you for making our 4th annual Burn Your Bra for Bev fundraising dinner, held May 9th 2008 in Pakenham another piece of history. Bev would be thrilled and thankful for all of your generosity. 

We've done it!  Since our party started, we've raised over $110,000!

This year alone you helped us raise $31,000
which will go to support Leukemia and Lymphoma Cancer research.

Thank-you for making the 3rd Annual Burn You Bra for Bev fundraising dinner, held May 11th, 2007 in Pakenham, another huge success. Because of the generous support of all of our sponsors over $30,000 was raised which will go to Thyroid Cancer Research.

The 3rd Annual Burn Your Bra For Bev, Cancer Fundraiser hit close to $80, 000 in money raised since it's inception.

Thank-you for your part in spearheading the First Annual Burn Your Bra for BreastCancer Fundraising Dinner, May 6, 2005.

Combined with the BYB 5 km Run, a total sum of over $20, 000 will go to the Ottawa Regional Women's Breast Health Centre. All proceeds from Burn Your Bra for Breast Cancer went to the Ottawa Regional Women's Breast Health Center. (Registration #869042747RR0001)
